Faith Practices Bible Study from the ELCA  click here.  Throughout the coming week, Pastor Amy invites you to use this self-study for your spiritual growth as an individual or as a family. This study could be done in one sitting or broken up into segments ending marked by the questions. Do you need a Bible at home? Let Pastor Amy know. In the meantime, use Biblegateway.com.

As part of our response to the coronavirus in the countries around the world where we work, Lutheran World Relief has launched the 75,000 Face Mask Challenge, a request for volunteers to sew cloth face masks that will be sent overseas to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Join the 75,000 Face Mask Challenge! COVID-19 is threatening vulnerable communities, and Lutheran World Relief urgently needs cloth face masks to send to them. The cloth mask you sew in your living room will provide love and protection to a neighbor in need halfway around the world.

If you would like to make masks please email Beatrice at officetlc314@gmail.com to get further instructions.

Sunday School/Christian Education

Our next Sunday School season will be using a rotational style program. This is an exciting, active style of programming.

I am looking for volunteers for the following:

Focus/activity areas – art, drama, science, Bible story, game, cooking, etc. Volunteers for these areas would lead/teach the same lesson for four weeks. Students will rotate throughout these areas.  A planning team will organize the lessons and materials needed for the focus/activity areas. Volunteers for focus/activity areas will need to spend some time getting familiar with the activity they will be leading.

Shepherds/guides – these volunteers would lead children throughout the focus/activity areas. Shepherds/guides will not need to do any planning.

Please let me know if you are interested in participating with this exciting programming, or if you have any questions. Thanks!
