Pastor Amy presided a funeral for Roxanne Hunt on March 20, 2021.

Maternity Leave

Sarah Baldridge gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Amelia Michelle, on March 30! Sarah will be taking a maternity leave during April and part of May. Her maternity leave substitute will be our very own Wendy Chady. Sarah and her husband are excited to get to know their daughter and start the adventure of parenthood.

Guest Preacher

On April 11, we’ll enjoy another sermon from Bishop Joy! She is preaching for every congregation in the synod that day through a digital format. Join Pastor Amy at Trinity or online to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ from our Bishop.

Quarterly devotions available

Quarterly devotionals can be picked up in-person or at drive-thru communion while supplies last.

Call Committee

We’re excited! We’ve formed a Call Committee! At our February meeting, the Council approved the forming of a Call Committee to seek a half time, ordained person. Just as Kitty focuses on Youth and Family Ministry, our hope is that this new person would focus on Children and Family Ministry along with regular preaching and Pastoral Care. The other half of the call will be extended from the Synod for Campus Ministry at UWW. Under advice from the Bishop, we have formed a joint Call Committee to design one call that will serve both places. Please keep this process in prayer – especially for the person who may come to join us!

Thursday Ushers Needed

We are in need of volunteers willing to serve as ushers on Thursdays for in-person services. If you are interested in serving, please contact the office.

Hospital Visits

Please call Pastor Amy if you or a loved one is in the hospital. Pastor Amy is sometimes allowed to make hospital visits to members depending on the condition of the member and status of the hospital. You can call the church at (920) 563-4145.

Hiking/Fellowship Event

Horicon Marsh hike and picnic lunch Saturday, April 17. Plan to leave Whitewater/Fort Atkinson at 9:00 a.m. to begin the Redhead Hiking Trail hike at 10:30 a.m. Pack a picnic lunch to enjoy after this first trail. Stick around if you’d also like to hike the Red Fox Trail, Egret Trail and boardwalk or just find a lovely place to sit and enjoy the view and wildlife. It will be a great day of fellowship outdoors and we’ll still be home for dinner! There is parking at the
trailhead on Hwy 49, just east of Waupun. Please respond with a text “yes” to Aurelio’s phone, 262-490-4923, if you plan to attend. Hope to see you there! Aurelio and Diana Callope.

Trinity Kitchen Cleanup

The church kitchen cabinets and counter tops are installed and the cabinets need to be wiped out before the dishes and other things are put back in the cupboards. A morning cleaning is scheduled for Wednesday April 14 at 9 a.m. It should only take a couple of hours to do the job. Stephanie Beran and Nancy Boos will be helping out and would like four more people to assist. If you are interested in helping, please let Stephanie Beran know.
