Church is people gathered to worship God and practice loving each other as much as Jesus loves us. As a pastor, I delight in supporting a community in sharing the Gospel, nurturing belonging, and working toward mutual liberation as we “be the church” together. Guided by the Holy Spirit, I was called to Trinity in 2022 as Associate Pastor, in a half-time call with a focus on Children & Family Ministry (up to 6th grade and their grown-ups). Together we journey through milestones like Baptism and First Communion, and continued fun like Spark Sunday School and the Christmas Program. My other role is serving campus ministry at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. I also love walking nature trails, learning languages, practicing improv, singing karaoke, and playing any kind of game that reminds people the power of togetherness.
I’d love to sit down at a café or talk on the phone with you, so don’t hesitate to reach out! I’m a good person to talk to if you worry that no one will understand. I have some insight as an openly queer minister with training in holistic wellness and mental health support, including chaplain training at Mayo Clinic.
