SUNDAY SCHOOL SERVICE PROJECT
Help us build a “fort” during the Season of Lent
Our building blocks will be boxes / packages of disposable diapers. The collection date will run from Ash Wednesday through Palm Sunday. Sunday School families, along with all church families, are encouraged to participate in this fun project. Boxes of disposable diapers of any size can be dropped off in the Sunday School office or below the bulletin boards at the front entrance. On Sunday, April 8, the children will attempt to build a “fort” with the boxes. All donations will be taken to the Fort Food Pantry.
4th GRADE COMMUNION INSTRUCTION AND FIRST COMMUNION
Communion instruction for 4th graders begins on Sunday, March 4. Pastor Bryan will meet with students in their classroom during the Sunday School hour. Instruction will continue on March 11 with a mini Seder meal experience. The final class on March 18 will be a celebration that culminates with First Communion during the 10:45 a.m. service. For families that are unable to attend this service, please attend on Thursday, March 15 at 7 p.m.
Our program runs from the Sunday after Labor Day through the Sunday before Memorial Day for students 4K through Grade 8. Classes are held from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. There are no fees for our program; however, we do collect offerings throughout the year that are used toward outreach programs. A portion of offerings is also used to offset the materials used.
